I met Dave and Mary at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Government Affairs Conference on 1 March 2022. They are not only professionals in their trade, they are simply amazing human beings! After spending 20 minutes in Mary's Chair, I felt as though I had 5 years of counseling in a nurturing way. I felt wonderful and my shoes were simply mirrors of my surroundings. Dave and Mary treated me with respect and we talked about numerous things from COVID to the weekend coming up. Dave and Mary were quite engaging and went above and beyond just being polite. Absolutely, it is a brilliant idea. Like I was walking on air!

I attended a conference at the Washington Convention Center on March 1, sponsored by Credit Union National Association Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). One of the vendors at the tradeshow was offering a free shoeshine. I must tell you in all my years attending conferences and trade shows this is the first time I had saw such an ingenious idea. I first I thought it was just a gimmick to generate traffic, and let me tell you it worked the line was very long. So what I immediately noticed was that everyone that was stepping down off of the shoeshine stand had something in common and that was the most incredible shoeshine I had ever seen. When I tell you the shine would hurt your eyes, believe me I saw miracles being worked on some pretty rough looking shoes. I knew I had to wait because the art of a good shoeshine is a diminishing experience in today's culture. But David Kirkley, quickly restored my faith that there is one man on this planet who truly is a master at his craft. Now I'm very particular because everybody doesn't know how to handle an exotic skin shoe, but I didn't realize I had a master at his craft working on my shoes. So I would highly encourage you if you're ever at Union Station in Washington DC, stop by the stand and get a shoeshine and see for yourself craft and if you're planning a conference in the Washington area take the time to reach out to Union Station Shoe Shine. I was very impressed they actually took the show on the road were inside the convention center. Good for you David keep up the good work! You are a first class act my friend !! Dave provided the shine services for a men's pampering suite we set-up for a vip group prior to their awards dinner. He did a GREAT job. In the planning stage, he was easy to work with. On-site, he was professional and friendly. We highly recommend his services. He was perfect!

AOC-Military based trade show held at the DC Walter E Washington convention center. The services provided by Dave and Mary were of the highest class. The customer engagement was spectacular, creating an environment that our potential clientele were more forthcoming with info, ie what they do, what they are working on, and sharing their business cards. They also drove traffic to our booth. Consummate professionals, and I can not count the times I heard “this is the best shoe shine I’ve ever had!” We will hire them again as much as possible. No recommendations for improvements.
